We replace existing commercial locks and cylinders with high-security options for businesses in Henderson and Las Vegas, matched to your doors and your security needs.
Common problems we fix
- Keys are copied too easily and you cannot control who has them
- You are protecting cash, stock, records, medications or equipment
- After a break-in or attempted entry
- Existing locks are worn, outdated or easy to defeat
- You need stronger protection on back doors or storage rooms
- You want better control of keys across tenants or staff
How this works
High-security cylinders usually combine several features: a restricted keyway, where blanks are controlled by the manufacturer and not sold over the counter; tighter manufacturing tolerances and additional pin or locking elements that resist picking and bumping; and hardened inserts that resist drilling. Some systems also include key control, meaning keys are cut only for authorized people.
Security depends on the whole opening. A strong cylinder in a weak latch, a thin strike or a door that flexes will not stop a determined attempt. We look at the cylinder, the latch or deadbolt, the strike and the frame together, and recommend upgrades that make sense for the door.
Different products and key-control systems have different ratings and availability. We will discuss options with you and do not claim any manufacturer partnership.
Common door and hardware configurations
- High-security cylinders for mortise, rim and cylindrical locks
- Storefront deadlatches and deadbolts with upgraded cylinders
- Back doors, storage rooms and cash or records rooms
- Exit device outside trim with high-security cylinders
Repair or replace?
If only the key control is the concern, upgrading the cylinders may be enough. If the lock body, latch or strike is weak, replacing those too matters more than the cylinder alone. We will tell you where an upgrade adds real protection and where it does not.

Frequently asked questions
What makes a lock high-security?
Typically a restricted keyway, resistance to picking, bumping and drilling, and sometimes key control. The specifics depend on the product.
Can you upgrade my existing locks?
Often, yes. Many commercial locks accept a high-security cylinder. We check what you have first.
Can keys still be duplicated?
With restricted key systems, duplicates are controlled by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer. Ask us how that works for the system you choose.
Is high-security always necessary?
No. For some doors, rekeying is enough. We will recommend what suits the door and the risk.
