How this works
The right way in depends on the door and lock. Many commercial locks can be opened without damage when the lock and door are in good condition. Some cannot, for example when the cylinder has failed or the door has shifted. We will explain the situation and the options before we take any action that could damage hardware.
After you are back in, the lock or door often needs attention: a failing cylinder, a worn latch, a misaligned strike or a damaged door. Because we repair both locks and doors, the opening can be secured properly on the same visit instead of leaving it temporarily fixed.
If a break-in or attempted entry damaged the door, tell us when you call. We can repair or secure the door and change or rekey the lock so lost or stolen keys no longer work.
